Early Intervention -
Speech Therapy Program

This service provides an individualised program either onsite at our Early Intervention premises located in Croydon, in home or the community.

The therapist conducts initial assessments to determine the child’s current expressive and receptive communication abilities, and develops individual programs focusing on established goals as identified and agreed upon by family members.

Individual programs can include introducing children to visual strategies
and cued instructions, manual signing, PECS, and social stories. The
therapist focuses on developing the child’s skills in maximising communication through a range of applicable methods in an effort to improve the child’s ability to express their needs and wants and increase opportunities for socialisation.
