    Joanna Najdzion – CEO

    Joanna was appointed as the CEO of St Anthony’s Family Care in 2013.

    She has over 25 years’ experience working in the not for profit sector predominantly in the areas of disability services and out of home care. Joanna has held a range of management and senior management positions with large service providers in the areas of early intervention, post school and community options, employment and foster care services. Her positions although Sydney based, have included the management of staff and services across several rural areas in NSW.

    Joanna’s strengths include leadership, organisational management and strategic planning. She has strong relationships with government and key stakeholders in the community and across the sector. She is passionate about the delivery of high quality services that make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families.

    Joanna’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts, Graduate Certificate in Business Management and Masters of Business administration. 

    Joanna held a position on the Executive of Catholic Social Services NSW/ACT between 2013 and 2017.
    .

    Maria Santoso – Manager Business Services

    Maria Santoso is a finance professional with over 20 years’ experience gained within various industries holding a range of positions. Maria completed her Bachelor of Economics degree majoring in Accounting at Macquarie University where she also gained a Masters degree in in the same field.

    She joined PriceWaterHouse in Jakarta for a year in 1997 before she moved to Australia and gained experience in the pharmaceutical industry for 4 years while completing the CPA program.

    As a mother of three children, Maria worked in a part time capacity for around 7 years between 2004 and 2011 in order to maintain work life balance.

    In 2011, Maria joined a non-for-profit organisation as Company Accountant and over the last 5 years moved into management in Corporate Travel industries.

    Maria enjoys bringing positive change through building relationship and is passionate about integrity, innovation and continuous improvement.


    Teresa Petrone
    – Manager, Early Learning Services

    Teresa has been part of the St Anthony’s Family Care team for over 15 years working in the field of early childhood education and care.

    During her time with the organisation Teresa has held a number of positions including Team Leader, Early Learning Centre Director and in 2013 took on her current role of Manager – Early Learning Services.

    Teresa’s passion for supporting children of all abilities to be part of a quality Early Childhood Education and Care program is a constant source of motivation as is helping families to access programs that are able to meet their range of needs.

    Now as part of the senior management team, Teresa provides input into the overall strategic direction of the organisation to ensure children and families receive the highest quality services and appropriate care.

    Teresa’s qualifications include a Diploma of Community Services (Children’s Services) and Bachelor of Teaching (Birth to 5 Years). She is a member of both Community Child Care Cooperative and Early Childhood Intervention Australia.


    Simon Bartholomew – Manager, Disability Services

    Simon Bartholomew has over 10 years’ experience in the disability and not-for profit sector working for both local and larger organisations in regional and metro NSW.  Simon holds a BSc (Hons) in Criminology from the University of Wales in the UK.

    After arriving in Australia in 2006, Simon worked as a Recruitment Consultant and in 2008 moved into the Human Services Sector.  Simon worked in employment services and Out Of Home Care as a Case Manager and Program Coordinator before moving into the disability field in 2010.

    Since the introduction of the NDIS, Simon has held project management and area manager roles for large service providers supporting children and adults in accommodation and community environments.  Simon is passionate about the disability sector as a whole and  is motivated by current funding and societal changes which enable children, adults and their families live a better life.

    Simon commenced employment with St Anthony’s Family Care in April 2019 as Manager, Disability Services.

      As 2020 draws to a close, we wanted to take some time to thank you for giving St Anthony’s Family Care the opportunity to be part of your community. Our office will be closed from midday Thursday 24th December, but we will be back on Monday 4th January 2021. Figtree Early Learning Centre will be welcoming back our children and families on Thursday 14th January 2021. We wish you all a safe and healthy Christmas and Happy New Year and we look forward to an exciting 2021.
